My Writing Routine
by James Fletcher
Website: : http://www.chronicleofrebirth.com/
My writing routine is pretty straight forward. My day almost always starts out with writing. I get up around 3 a.m. when our house is quiet from the activity of our three dogs and two children. I will prep my computer the night before by opening my one note file and sticking up a character pic on my opposite monitor. Then, I load up my music playlist and make sure that I have a bottle of water nearby, so I can get right up and start typing immediately. I like the room completely dark with my headphones blasting through my playlist ranging from Aesop Rock to Willy Moon as I bang away on the keyboard until around 5:00 am when my wife joins me. When she does, we put on a few lights and start writing together until we pause for kids and work and the day ahead.
Sincerely,
-James
About the Book
The Magus (A Chronicle of Rebirth #1)
Everyone had heard of the Magus of Danthamore, a powerful, dangerous, and ruthless man. Nelina, who was sold on the slaver’s block by her unscrupulous uncle, now finds herself as the newest slave of the Magus. Finding that he is more than what he appears to be, Nelina follows her heart as the irresistible handsome Magus leads her into a world she had never dreamed existed.
Ru’ark who had become known as the Magus used the power he wielded with little regard for the people beyond his homeland of Aghadine and the waste. Finally, after years of diligently searching he has found the perfect vessel he needs -the voluptuous flaxen haired Nelina. He was expected to use her, betray her, and certainly not to love her.
