What’s on your desk, Wednesday? Pamela Harju #AuthorSpotlight #Interview with @pamelaharju #WaitingOnWednesday #wow

Hey Bibliomaniacs,

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for my weekly spotlight features, What’s on your desk, Wednesday, where we take a visit to see what’s on somebody’s desk and have a good old nose around. I’m also joining in with “WAITING ON WEDNESDAY” which you can find below this interview!

First, let’s take a look at where stories are created, from the desk of Pamela Harju

Technically, this isn’t a desk, but I like sitting at the kitchen table as it has the best view in the house. There is something calming about the mountain view.

I write whenever I can, which is why my desk is so portable. I write on my breaks from work and at the weekends. I rarely have time to write in the evenings, but if I have, great!

Yours Remotely

Everyone loves a rock star – but can a rock star love you back? Lea Woods wants a relationship. Gary Rock All, singer and guitarist in The Remotes, wants his band to take over the world. An undeniable attraction throws them into an all-consuming, if ultimately thwarted fling. As Gary struggles to cope with the fame success brings him, Lea sees him slipping away from her. He lives for his music – is there any room for her in his life? YOURS REMOTELY is a gritty love story gone wrong for fans of damaged characters, dirty rock ‘n’ roll and sexy anti-romance.

Waiting on Wednesday / Can’t Wait Wednesday

cantwaitwednesday

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, and my version is a mix of what I’m waiting to read, whether it’s a new release that is not out yet, or an older book on my TBR shelf, which I really want to read but haven’t got around to it yet.

Here’s my ‘Can’t wait to read’, book for this week:

51ADTbfEdzL

City of Bones is the first urban fantasy, young adult romance book in author Cassandra Clare‘s New York Times bestselling series The Mortal Instruments.

I’ve watched the film, and really enjoyed it. There’s also the Shadowhunters, the TV series based on the book, which is currently airing on Netflix.  Despite all this, and having collected all six books in the series, I am yet to read it! The series started in 2007 and ended in 2014. It’s also seen new editions and book cover releases, too. In short, this series of books is here to stay for a very long while and I need to start it!

What have you been wanting to read? Is this on your TBR or have you already read it? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. City of Bones Is such a good one, I hope you enjoy the series! I loved the series and the tv show!

  2. Such a tidy desk area. Mine doesn’t even have room for dust. LOL
And I have the series. Still haven’t pulled them off the shelf to read yet. So many books, so little time. “Sigh”

  3. Shadowhunters is such a popular series I feel like everyone at least tries it once. I read the fist one, and although it was okay, I didn’t feel the need to continue. I hope you have better luck with it! 🙂

  4. I am a fan of the Shadowhunters books. I read all of TID and TMI, and am eagerly awaiting the last TDA book. Hope you enjoy it when you read it.

  5. I’ve never read Cassandra Clare, but I’ve heard of Shadowhunters and I think I was going to start it a while back but got sidetracked. so many shows! I should go take a look!

  6. That sure is an inspiring view, and one sure to get your creative juices going! I didn’t know you were a writer! I’ll be sure to check out your book! 🙂

I enjoyed reading “city of Bones”, although I did have some quibbles with it. I didn’t see the movie, though.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my own CWW post!! <3 🙂

    1. Hi Maria! It is a beauty of a view, I agree! It certainly does make me want to check out what authors write when they’re tapping away at their computers in their own ‘imaginary world’ lol

Oh, have you reviewed CITY OF BONES? I must come and look!

Thank you, for commenting, too, Maria.
