  5. Richard Savage – Chatteris, UK – I was born in the north England in 1962. I have been a figurative artist for twenty years and strive to make my art work challenging and thought provoking. My work is diverse and I aim to capture something of the celebration of life in all its wonderful shades. I currently work from my Cambridgeshire studio, also giving art and life drawing classes. My background is in illustration, fine art and technical drawing. I work mainly in acrylics, but am also happy working in oils, pastels, line and wash, watercolour and mixed media. I draw inspiration from classical art, and the styles of the contemporary artists Boris Vallejo and Jack Vettriano.
