Waiting on Wednesday / Can’t Wait Wednesday
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, and my version is a mix of what I’m waiting to read, whether it’s a new release that is not out yet, or an older book on my TBR shelf, which I really want to read but haven’t got around to it yet.

This comes out tomorrow in the UK and it looks like it could have have been previously published, either way, I am really pleased to have been able to have nabbed a copy for myself.

About the Author
Jeremy Lachlan was born and raised in Griffith, country NSW, Australia. He completed his Honours degree in creative writing at the University of Canberra in 2004, and now calls Sydney home. As yet, he has won no writing prizes, but he did once take home $100 in a karaoke competition. He’s super proud of this. He came up with the idea for Jane Doe and The Cradle of All Worlds while lost in the Cairo Museum. It is his debut novel

Forbidden fruit always looks more tasty … this made me think of a situation I found myself in as a child.
“Puppy love” aged about 6 I was head over hees in love with the girl next door. Never mind “six feet apart” there was on the dividing wall (maybe 6 INCHES?) ”between us” as our bedrooms were only separated by the wall of our terranced houses.
But in 1950s Liverpool, any “romance” between a Catholic boy and a Protestant girl was out of the question. Maybe it’s time for me to face my demons and write the story your Blog has prompted today!
