Sassy Sunday Roundup Week no. 418 - #Sunday #SundayPost #Quarantine

Welcome to my Sunday Wrap Up Post! #swup!

It’s Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the lovely Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week. It’s been a while since I’ve joined in with my Sunday post, and I have missed it!
I’m also taking part in Stacking the shelves: Which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

What’s your week been like?

Here’s wishing you a happy week ahead! I do hope you are having a relaxing day! It’s such a shame we can no longer see our Instagram images on our blogs… anyone know a work around for this?

I do hope you are all staying well, and not letting this virus get you down too much.  Are you reading less than  you normally do, or more? I have noticed that I used to read several books in one go, but now I am finding it harder to concentrate with the same amount. Right now I have one non-fiction book on the go, The Bystander Effect and one Stephen King Book- If It Bleeds. Anyone else felt their reading habits change because of this COVID-19 crisis?

Luv Sassy x

It looks like you’ve had a really busy on-line week, Sassy:). I’ve voted for my favourite cover… And yes – I think I’m reading a bit more than usual, but I’m avoiding anything too bleak. Have a peaceful, healthy week.x

    1. Thanks for voting! Yeah, not sure it’s time for the zombie apocalypse books… although saying that, I’m actually changing my mind and think that would be fun lol

What a great week! I am curious about The Bystander Effect. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

    1. You’re welcome! Oh yes, I am thoroughly enjoying The Bystander Effect, it’s got me thinking a lot, I can tell you lol

  3. shanaqui – Thirty-one years old, from Wales, living in South Yorkshire. Reads and reviews books -- a lot. Crochets -- less than they would prefer.

I’m reading The Bystander Effect, too! Well, I’ve barely started, but I got an e-ARC so it’s on my neverending list, haha. Enjoy!

    1. That’s fantastic news! Hope you get to read it soon, and enjoy it 😀

  4. Sounds like you had a busy week. I loved Wyoming Special Delivery. I haven’t been reading as much as I thought I would. I’ve been too distracted. Hopefully this will start to change as things get better. I hope this is a good week for you. Take care and stay safe.

    1. Yes, hopefully this will change for all of us once things start to get better. Happy a good week too! Stay safe!

  5. I am definitely reading less. I thought with quarantine I’d be reading more but no, my reading has plummeted like a stone! I think it’s just all the stress and uncertainty has sapped my enthusiasm for it, but I keep hoping it’ll pick up haha!

LOVE that cover for So Many Lies!!

    1. I think a lot of people thought that, ‘nothing to do but stay home and read – wahoooo!’ , but sadly it’s all so weird out there!

  6. fuonlyknew – Voracious reader and love to do reviews. Will review yours! Love Doritos and chocolate. A fan of furry friends. I'm afraid of things that go bump in the night! I do reviews at request when time allows. Prefer print versions but also will do ebooks. If I can stand to let them go, I use some print review copies for giveaways.. Also like doing ARC reviews to promote authors and their books. I encourage authors to comment. My reviews are posted on my blog, Amazon, Goodreads, Shelfari, Smashwords and Barnes&Noble.

I grabbed If It Bleeds yesterday. Happened to spot in on the shelf while doing some shopping after work. I still have to go in to work and putting in long hours so I’m not getting as much reading in as I’d like. Be well!

    1. My son is still going out to work too! It’s a worry! Take care and enjoy If It Bleeds! (A great after work find, btw – well deserved 😉 )

  7. My reading has definitely been different. It’s almost like I’m overly tired or something and so I don’t always feel like reading which is really weird for me. I don’t include Instagram pics in my posts, but I do have a banner at the bottom of my page. I’m not sure if something like that would work for you or not…

    Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Subconsciously we must all be affected in a way we cannot really explain – it’s playing on our minds all the time, but life still has to go on – just very differently and strangely.

I will check out your banner and see if I can find something that might work on my blog – thanks!
