Blurb:

After a life of crime in the East End of London, Tommy Sands and Lenny Burns leave prison to enjoy the proceeds. Having purchased an isolated house on a large estate, they leave their past behind.
After five years, with their money running out fast, a change of direction was vital. Lenny had taken to drink and they were each getting on the other`s nerves.
Tommy decided that one last big job was essential to fund their gracious lifestyle. He adds a few more ingredients to his plan – women.
Surprisingly, sometimes this kind of recipe can work.
Can it?

Book Details:

A good read a crime thriller full of psychological suspense, with a strong female genre in relationships and European criminal activity. Very busy content, very descriptive and full of intrigue and not one to be that familiar as story lines go. With cooking recipe and erotic verse that offers escapism as if at times makes one feeling part of the story, it is quirky and comical at times with a serious side of mayhem, murder and emotional journeys that’s fast-paced and mysterious with twists and secrets that is themed throughout the book. http://amzn.to/2eLyW5h

Very much an action novel that provides so much potential in film imagination from London criminals, Gypsies, European criminals and Mafia concepts for entertainment purposes.

Hard to believe that it was written in 1987 and so thirty years later remains today a fetching modern story recently published (August 2017) on Amazon by www.mtp.agency.co.uk

A sequel has been written (unpublished) as part two and continues the main theme throughout – The principle subjects are three males and four women who are portrayed throughout the story lines with endings of the unexpected and unimaginable. More about real time of people’s lives day to day and the emotional impact it has on relationships and questions not normally asked by men, caring, sensitive and sexually charged in the way couples would behave as to the background of each of the characters with high adrenalin being the component part of the ingredients that pumps the heart and minds of each.

Quote – I don’t give books stars, but if I did it would be 5 stars. I grew up in England and over the years I have noticed that not all English authors translate well to the US market, George Bernard Shaw is credited with saying “Britain and America Are Two Nations Divided by a Common Language”. I think BOBBYJAC crosses the ‘pond’ well, there are almost no passages that the US reader will have trouble with.

MUSIC MONDAY

I’ve also chosen to cross post my Monday “Movie” Book Trailer Swap with the lovely lady Lauren @AlwaysMe (blog) Drew @The Tattooed Book Geek (blog) @SarcasticEnigma (Twitter) and musical maestro Mischenko @readrantrockandroll.com (blog) @J_Mischenko (Twitter). Here are the rules:
Every Monday share one or two of songs you’ve been enjoying lately.  It doesn’t have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favourites – just something you’d like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

Today I asked the author if he had some favourite songs. Here is what he picked:  (Don’t miss the Susan Boyle video!)

Find my way home – vangelis

I Dreamed a Dream – Susan Boyle –

Sassy Brit: This was one of those moments where I saw Simon Cowell’s ‘disgust’ of her, which riled me no end!  He soon changed his mind about her when she sang…  Go Susan!

Check out past Monday Movie posts and all the great trailers already shared here. Indie authors are more than welcome!

Happy Monday! Let’s have fun and get through Mondays together!

Luv

Sassy Brit 🙂
