Here’s today’s #MondayMovie Book Trailer Swap:
The Beguiled by Thomas Cullinan.
This is a Penguin Classic and I’m really exited to be able to get copy of the book to review that is a tie-in with the film. This edition of the book has already been released 22 Jun 2017.
The book trailer swap below is actually a trailer for the film, not the book, so I’m kind of cheating here – but I wanted to share it because both the book and the film look fun.
If you’ve got your own book trailer to share, do leave a link in the comments and we’ll pop by and visit you! Buy on Amazon UK or Amazon.com
Blurb:
A classic slice of Southern Gothic, shot through with psychological suspense – now the basis for Sofia Coppola’s highly anticipated new film (winner of Best Director at Cannes) starring Nicola Kidman, Colin Farrell and Kirsten Dunst.
When an injured Union soldier is found in the Virginia woods as the Civil War rages, he is brought to the nearby Miss Martha Farnsworth Seminary for Young Ladies to recover. For the sheltered girls and their teachers, the arrival of the attractive John McBurney is a thrilling distraction from normal life. But before long, McBurney’s presence will turn them against each other and upend all their lives – with potentially devastating consequences. Combining psychological suspense with humour and romantic drama, The Beguiled is a wildly entertaining novel of sexual tension and repression, and of rivalry, jealousy and, ultimately, vengeance.
OUT NOW!
Happy Monday! Let’s have fun and get through Mondays together!

Made a book trailer? Please feel free to leave the link to your YouTube trailer in the comments section below, so we can come and pay you a visit and watch. Not only do I enjoy making trailers myself, I love watching and adding them to my YouTube channel to share with others.
How can this help you?
YouTube is a very popular place to promote your book in “movie” form. It’s seriously a great way to get more views and subscribers, which hopefully results in more book sales.
How can I help you?

I’ve never read this although the movie looks good. Nice casting!
Yes, looks like it’s going to be a great film!
I had no idea that this was based on a book – I’ve seen the original movie and I’d like to see this new one, too! 🙂
I heard Clint Eastward stared in the 1970 film! Ooh er! lol
