Continuing with my ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Friday Theme (here’s the last Friday’s post) I am now on to the next book in the series…

Why? I received the lovely book The Incomplete History of Secret Organizations by Joe Tracz (book pictured above) to review and realised I just had to watch the Netflix TV series, which I am now doing, at the same time as reading all the books!

So without further ado… I present… Yep, I’m creating a new look!

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Brett Helquist was born in Ganado, Arizona, grew up in Orem, Utah, and now lives in New York City. He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Brigham Young University and has been illustrating ever since. His art has appeared in many publications, including Cricket magazine and The New York Times.

I’m on my third Kindle! I’ve loved ebooks for a long while, but I do still enjoy a physical book more. (OMG! Please don’t lynch me! LOL) Honestly, physical books make the whole reading experience much more pleasurable for me. I can’t read my Kindle in the bath, and I’m wary of taking my Kindle anywhere it can be dropped and broken. I could go on, but I’ll leave it there for now.

However, at the same time, my Kindle (named Tim III after my husband lol ) is always with me whilst I’m working, so if I have a moment or two where my browser is playing up and going slow, I’ll just pick up my Kindle and carry on where I left off. My Kindle is also very useful at night when my husband is telling me to turn the light off, so he can get some sleep! The in-built light is a godsend at those times! aha!
