*** THE BRAND NEW STANDALONE NOVEL FROM THE MASTER OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SUSPENSE ***
Neve Connolly looks down at a murdered man.
She doesn’t call the police.
‘You know, it’s funny,’ Detective Inspector Hitching said. ‘Whoever I see, they keep saying, talk to Neve Connolly, she’ll know. She’s the one people talk to, she’s the one people confide in.’
A trusted colleague and friend. A mother. A wife. Neve Connolly is all these things.
She has also made mistakes; some small, some unconsciously done, some large, some deliberate. She is only human, after all.
But now one mistake is spiralling out of control and Neve is bringing those around her into immense danger.
She can’t tell the truth. So how far is she prepared to go to protect those she loves?
And who does she really know? And who can she trust?
A liar. A cheat. A threat. Neve Connolly is all these things.
Could she be a murderer?

Sounds like a thrilling read!
Wow, I’ve never seen an ARC with that many errors. I think I’d have problems ignoring them. The story sounds awesome, though.
This sounds like a great psychological thriller. Those snippets really drew me in and your review has me wanting to check it out. Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
I want to read this book! thanks for sharing it.
Sounds great but I can’t get past the lack of capitals… OMGGGGGAWD. 🙂 Happy weekend!
The Lying Room looks interesting. Great review!
I am curious about the spelling/punctuation/grammar issues of not capitalizing “i” and “neve”. That would bug me enough to not read it. My Friday Quotes
Great review! It sounds great. 🙂
I knew this had to be a psychological thriller just by the cover! Love when the covers make the genre so obvious. I love the imagery in the opening lines! This sounds like it’d be an interesting read.
I love it when a story can make my heart race! And this has such an intriguing cover.
This sounds exciting! I have yet to read a Nicci French book. I’ve heard great things about these authors’ work though. One of these days . . . I hope you have a great week!
I love a good psychological thriller! It does sound like one that I would enjoy as well. Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
