Continuing with my ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Friday Theme (here’s last Friday’s post) I am now on to the next book in the series…
Why? I received the lovely book The Incomplete History of Secret Organizations by Joe Tracz (book pictured above) to review and realised I just had to watch the Netflix TV series, which I am now doing, at the same time as reading all the books!

My First Thoughts?
I’m whizzing through these terrible tales of woe! The Grim Grotto sounds very Christmassy, although, the front cover is of the Baudelaires underwater! But don’t you think the black and white drawing looks a bit like Santa’s sleigh? Or is that just me and my never-ending love of Christmas.
Do I need to remind you I do have a Christmas Facebook page and small group for Christmas books and die-hard fans of the snowy season? Not sure this one fits there yet, but Grotto to me sounds very Santa!
Although, it could be more like a very damp, mildew covered John McClane adventure…
