Just in case you can’t see beyond the first photo, here’s the Friday 56 sentence below: (Actually it’s a bit more than a couple of sentences..)
My First Thoughts:
This is currently our 3rd January read in our Authors Needing Reviews Group! (And on offer for anyone wanting to read it with us this month. Reduced to £1.99 via the group). Ten copies available, on a first come first served basis. There may be some left… if you’re lucky! lol
It’s early stages right now, however, it’s interesting to see two points of view, one of which is a young child with autism and how he sees the world through his eyes. For example, he annoys other kids and he has no idea why, yet reading as a bystander I see the differences in his behaviour, where he is at times, socially inept, he just doesn’t understand some things in a way we do.
Yesterday was Winnie-the-Pooh Day! So I posted this picture on instagram, to celebrate all the teddies in the world! 😉
Love, Secrets, and Absolution
He’s a lonely boy full of secrets, lies, and obsessive thoughts.
How far can a mother’s love go? Will she ultimately sacrifice her life for his?
Set in Nottinghamshire, this family drama follows the lives of Grace and Alfie as he transforms from a naïve, young boy into a teenager spiralling out of control.
Love, Secrets, and Absolution is a coming of age story with a difference.
Deceit, betrayal, love, and addiction, a family falling apart in the midst of teenage angst and torn loyalties; will anybody find absolution?

Sounds like a fabulous book. Unborn babies can definitely be stubborn. One of my kids was a week late. Considering the last month feels as long as the full nine months, I wasn’t happy. 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog.
