It’s Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the lovely Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

LAST WEEK ON ALTERNATIVE-READ.COM:

What’s your week been like?

I’ve been full of cold and felt awful last week. Still do. ((sniff)) Whenever I speak to someone and they hear the sound of my ‘croaky’ voice, they don’t hesitate to remind me there’s something going around that lasts about a month!  I hope not! LOL

Last week we uploaded the Feb BOOK COVER OF THE MONTH poll, featured Amanda Byrd’s horror (a gruesome cover!), and interviewed  Ronald H. Balson and Karen Rose!

I’ve also got to The Wide Window, book 3 of A Series of Unfortunate Events by author @lemonysnicket! Only ten more to go folks!  🙂

Here’s wishing you a happy, healthy week ahead!

Luv Sassy x

  1. fuonlyknew – Voracious reader and love to do reviews. Will review yours! Love Doritos and chocolate. A fan of furry friends. I'm afraid of things that go bump in the night! I do reviews at request when time allows. Prefer print versions but also will do ebooks. If I can stand to let them go, I use some print review copies for giveaways.. Also like doing ARC reviews to promote authors and their books. I encourage authors to comment. My reviews are posted on my blog, Amazon, Goodreads, Shelfari, Smashwords and Barnes&Noble.

I’m fighting something too but not as bad as what you are feeling. Let’s hope it doesn’t last a month! Feel better soon!

  2. sjhigbee – Science fiction/fantasy writer & creative writing tutor and book addict. I can't walk past a book shop or library and am considering therapy.

I’m so sorry that you are feeling so lousy! And yes… I very much hope you haven’t the month-long version – I’ve had students battling with that one this winter. The grandchildren have been raving about the TV production of A Series of Unfortunate Events – they’ve been watching it on Netflix and loved it, though my granddaughter had also read the books. I hope during this coming week you manage a major recovery, Sassy!

  3. So many folks are sick, so many. I hope you are feeling much better soon. I really loved Say You’re Sorry. Karen Rose is a favorite. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you Anne, I’ve taken quite some time to finally see the end of this sick tunnel! But I am getting there now, just very tired. 😀 Sorry to take so long releasing your comment. I just wasn’t keeping up very well in my listlessness lol x

  4. Lola – I am a reader, book blogger and tour organizer located in the Netherlands. When I am not reading, blogging or working I also enjoy hanging around on the internet and visiting other blogs.
    Lola says:

I hope you’re feeling well soon! Have a great week!
