Sassy sunday

SundayWrap

It’s Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the lovely Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

LAST WEEK ON ALTERNATIVE-READ.COM:

What’s your week been like?

I’ve taken such a long while to feel totally better I feel like I’m only just “me” again!  My week has actually been very uneventful, which in a way is a blessing. A couple of weeks ago I got a new Fitbit (anyone else got one?) and I’ve been trying to get my 10,000k steps up everyday. I used to do it very easily, but lately I cannot believe how hard that is. But that’s the downside from working from home. I don’t walk anywhere!

One new thing is that I am trying to update my blog, and I’ve designed some nice pink logos. I’ve got a long way to go, but I think it’s an improvement. What do you think?

Keeping this short and sweet today, but hopefully I’ll have more to share next week. 🙂

Here’s wishing you a happy week ahead!

  1. Yes I love the new look! It’s all spring like. Glad to hear that you feel better now.

  2. I have a Fitbit. I used to be able to do 10,000 steps, but not in months. I guess that’s the drawback of having a desk job. Hope you have a great week!

    1. Just like me! This is why we need one – to encourage our moving lol I’ll look out for you over there, Yvonne!

  3. I have a really simple Fitbit but stopped wearing it for 2 reasons. One was it always misread when I rode the Harley. Two was I was always getting my steps. Apparently I move all the time.. Good luck with it. I hope it is helpful for you. Have a wonderful week.

    1. I can see why it might be a waste of time for you. The Harley sounds fun. That’s a massive bike to handle!

Hope you’re having a good week so far 🙂

  4. I’ve worked from home for a long time too, and I have the same problem. Making sure I walk enough lol. I do like the new look!

    1. Oh yes! And another thing, is the amount of cold cups of tea I get through lol Thanks re the new look! 🙂

    1. Thanks Laura! lol to both 🙂 Pretty in Pink, now there’s a blast from the past!

  5. I love my fitbit. I bought one while I was here in Florida and I love getting the reminders to move if I have been sitting reading books or blog posts. 😁💓 Glad you are feeling better.
