I spent much of my twenties raising two boys and reading every book I could get my hands on. Once I realized that I was no longer satisfied with simply reading the books I loved, I must write them, too, I decided to finish my degree (English Major, History Minor) and embark on a writing career. Mr. Darling and the boys gave me their wholehearted blessing.

When I’m not writing heroes who make my heart melt, I run a marathon in a different state every year, visit crumbling medieval castles whenever I get a chance, and enjoy a slightly codependent relationship with my beagle, Bosco.

Oh, didn’t I mention that I love tea? The taste of it. The ritual of it. Everything about it.
