Killer Secrets is a thrilling romantic suspense novel that follows the story of Gemma Fitzgibbons, a reporter who needs a front-page story to keep her job. She gets more than she bargained for when she confronts Detective Jack Donahue, who is investigating a series of murders by the Wedding Veil Killer. Though Jack dislikes reporters, he is drawn to Gemma’s intelligence and determination. As they work together to uncover secrets about a scandal that someone will kill to keep hidden, their attraction grows stronger, and Gemma’s life is threatened. Zia Westfield’s writing is excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this first book in the Deadly Encounters series.

Zia’s writing is of exceptional quality, with a talent for creating suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and was hooked until the very end. The characters were well-developed and their stories were captivating, making for a truly engaging and exciting read. Overall, I highly recommend this well-written book to anyone who loves a romantic, thrilling, and suspenseful story.
