Cole Manning writes nightmares. Gary Short lives them on a daily
basis and doesn’t see it changing any time soon. The fact that they
are one and the same wouldn’t matter except to the cops when he is the only witness to a gruesome murder and the killer decides to “hug” him leaving him covered in the victim’s blood.

Detective Henderson knows Gary isn’t big enough, strong enough or even conscious enough to be capable of committing the atrocity perpetrated on the victim. Although he knows this he needs hard evidence to back it up. But it’s the speed with which his heart has become involved that’s really frightening. Now Zeke must protect the man who has become his heart.

This book grabbed me from the first page. The descriptions of Gary’s life, house, the strange happenings all contributed to keep me turning pages to find out how they were going to solve not only the murder, but their relationship as well. I must admit that these two seem absolutely meant for each other and the sex is phenomenal. It’s definitely one for the read again list.
