Unity Brooks had stumbled upon something illegal going on at work. They had to get rid of her so created a compromising situation and then fired her. Before presenting the evidence to her boss she had sent some disks with information on them to the authorities. Now she was hiding out, hoping her former boss did not find her. Her life was in peril, and so was her sanity as she came into contact with Aquila
Johnson a second time.

Quill was undercover investigating corruption in a corporate situation he was posing as an accountant to audit the books. When he woke up bound naked to Unity and they were both fired he was reassigned to investigate a sex slave ring operating close by. Women were going missing and he was trying to put a stop to it. When Unity winds up in his sights again things get tricky and they will have to share their secrets.

This is an unusually twisted mystery dotted with intense sexually interest. Shifters being unusually passionate it creates a wonderfully erotic vision. There is also a lot of humour in the
situation if of course you can relax while in danger, which they are quite capable of. A great casual read with plenty to keep the interest.
