How do you celebrate the day your divorce is final? Professor Shelley Latimer does it by sipping red wine on her patio while contemplating chucking her rings into the river. What she’s not counting on is company—gorgeous, male company in the form of her Lothario neighbor, Luke Henderson. As edible as she finds him, his sudden interest is just a bit much since she knows she’s definitely not his usual “fare”.
Finding himself bored with the Barbie Bimbo types he usually dines on, Luke finds Shelley far more interesting and those curves really set his thermostat on high. The problem? Shelley has known his usual fare as they’ve been neighbors and his reputation is his biggest handicap. Now he has to convince her he’s totally serious.
This was a real hoot to read. I enjoyed the trials and tribulations of a man learning how to deal with a real woman. So refreshing. A woman learning to trust, a man learning to give, the usual pitfalls of any relationship with a couple extra thrown in to keep it really interesting and some truly HOT sex (I either gotta slow down my reading or get a better fan). This one was just plain good reading with every emotional element covered.
