Ever find someone who makes you want to just let loose and do all the naughty, sexy things you’ve ever craved? When Samantha Rutledge finds out that Callum is leaving for an extended trip to another country, it seems the perfect opportunity for her to let herself go. Now he’s back and there are two wolf cubs missing and they want her to work with—yep, you guessed it—to find out what happened to them.

One night of uncontrolled, rock-your-world sex with the luscious Sammi wasn’t going to do it for Callum MacLennon, but it royally pissed him off to have her trailing him around as though they thought he couldn’t handle finding out who had stolen the missing cubs. But then, interesting things start to come to light, and as well as making her admit they are more than just lovers, other people are beginning to look suspicious.

Ohhhh, I do love smart women. I especially love sexy, go-for-what-they-want smart women. It’s been a long wait, but Ms. Lapthorne hasn’t disappointed one bit in the continuation of the Rutledge series. I found all the gorgeous men I wanted, plenty of sexy women, thievery, plots on plots, and some really erotic sex that seems to just keep getting hotter. I hope the wait isn’t quite so long for the next one and that this second generation is as gregarious as the first.
