As the sole survivor of an attack on Vellas, Cassandra Wellington is not just an ordinary virgin, but the bearer of an artifact that can bring peace to the world if she remains virginal until it’s returned to its sacred home. The only problem is that the Delmirth army has every intention of making sure the Princess never makes it that far. Enter Keidon, a warrior of unknown strengths who is willing to makes sure she does.

Having fallen in love with Cassandra, without knowing who she is or of her scared oath to remain pure until the Ruby Idol is returned to its sacred home, Keidon believes he has the right to fully love her in every way. Enduring unbelievable hardship to reach the Sunken Islands, will they then survive what awaits them there?

Ahhh, to be young, foolish, in love and afraid to be honest. I found this to be an entirely emotional read full of anguish, fear, distrust, betrayal, war for survival of good and evil, love in its basest form and people who will strive to do what’s right no matter what the cost to themselves. The sex was HOT, the world harsh, the people all too real, yet somehow far too vulnerable. The ending leaves you waiting for the next one to see where it will take you.
