Lorcan had lived three hundred years and had at various times had lovers, male lovers, but now in order to feed he used female
prostitutes. With women there was no emotional connection, no lasting entanglements, just money for sex and blood. Sometimes the loneliness got to be to much and he would wonder the streets of New York. It wouldn’t be long till he had to move again. A noise in an alley drew his attention. Three men violent men were attacking a young man with rape as their intention. He was compelled to intervene, and that one single act would change his life. After vowing not to get emotional with mortals he was immediately drawn to the young man and could not let him go.

A gratifying story of love, of a passionate need for acceptance and trust that overpowers all other emotions. Love that transcends gender, and even vampirism. A love that would cause either man to do anything to protect the other. An outstanding story. The characters
are vibrant and the passion leaps off the page and engages the readers heart. I am anxious to read more. Although Rememdiu is a stand alone novel it is recommended to read this book The Cost of Eternity first.
I am now moving on to the next one.
