I don’t know if you remember any of your first days at work, but if they were anything like Jared’s, it’s enough to make you want to give up.

When Becky, receptionist in Development, calls Noah to help a new employee with computer problems, he has no idea where it could lead. The cute voice on the other end of the phone makes him want to explore it a little. Still, there’s the cute guy he spotted in the parking lot at work.

I found this a full blend with all the elements of envy, jealousy, longing and the humor, wit and keen insight I always associate with J.M. Snyder’s work. Her works are always a treat to read.
