Joanie Showalter and her husband Tommy were soon to celebrate their tenth anniversary with a cruise. Tommy dropped the bomb that he wanted a divorce just days before the Alaskan trip. So Joanie was going on the cruise alone. Their first stop was Steward, Alaska. When she stopped for lunch at a local café, the old woman would not serve her an threw a fit because she wore a necklace she bought aboard ship that the old woman swore was a sex charm.

Corbin Silver was a combination of Alaskan Inuit and Scottish. His grandmother ran a small café, that he funded now that business was slower. He couldn’t believe his grandmother was turning away business because of their jewellery. All the time it took to settle things
down caused Joanie to miss the ship when it departed. Now she was stranded and he would have to help her out till the ship returned in a week. That would be no hardship and since she believed in the sex charm he would see how well it worked, and how far her belief would let her go.

The magic of the necklace brought them together but would family split them up. The love runs deep even thought they have only know each other less than a day, but when grandmother gets involved again, the family dynamics threaten to tear apart the gentle love that has not yet sank it roots deep.
