Merry Rogers has found herself in a situation both painful and
frightening; kidnapped, handcuffed and duct taped to a total stranger. At least he seems to be a stranger, but he keeps calling her by another woman’s name, claiming that’s who she is. The fact that Merry had an accident two years before, suffers the effects of head trauma and a form of amnesia is as frightening as the situation she finds herself now in.

James Caesar is a tough agent with National Security, but it’s slowly brought home to him that since the accident in Malaysia, his partner Samantha Stone really believes she’s Merry Rogers. As he struggles to understand this new woman who’s almost the total opposite of the one he knew and loved before he realizes he loves both aspects of her.

Can a woman suffering from trauma and amnesia trust a man she doesn’t remember to keep her safe from another man she thinks is a relative? James Caesar claims they are partners, friends and lovers. While her mind may not remember him, her body certainly seems to. When a violent
encounter with a would-be killer releases her memories she’s determined to make them pay for what they’ve done to her. Now she must figure out how to fuse both parts of herself to make up the whole of who she truly is.

This story contains some beautifully written sex scenes, while also describing a brutal sexual assault, graphic violence and unfortunately From my perspective an all too realistic look at our world today. It takes the attention from page one and keeps it to the last page with you rooting for “both” women to the very end. A great, entertaining read.
