Buzzing Skin?, 18 Jan. 2017
I am reviewing the SkinChemists Bee Venom Facial Oil 15 ml. Here are my thoughts:
^^ Smartly packaged nourishing facial oil that can be worn alone or over moisturiser.
^^ Ideal for cheeks, forehead and under the chin area. I found a noticeably softer skin within days of using this. I also used a little on my hands (so as not to waste it) and it really helps my dry skin there too.
^^ I like these eye-dropper style facial oils. Just drip some into the palms of your hand, rub together and then gently wipe across your face where needed.
^^ It did have a buzzing, tingly skin after use, but that was the only ‘side-effort’ for me. Why does this happen?
^^ I am slightly concerned that the recommend price is very high, and reduced enormously to an affordable (although not cheap) amount. It makes me wonder if the recommended retail price has been exaggerated.
Overall: It’s a shame, as this is a nice product and has lovely healing and moisturising properties due to the actual Bee Venom and Manuka Honey within. However, what I am not sure about is the buzzy, tingly skin, and if this is what is meant to happen, or if it is a reaction. I’ve not had any breakouts or rashes, so nothing bad has happened. Maybe this is just a sign that it’s working…
