Symone Cutcheon is out to get the truth about her brother Baillo’s
death and his Zone Rogue partner seems a good place to start. She
means to find the substance dealer who killed him by any means
necessary. What she doesn’t expect is the intense attraction she feels and the fact that he makes her feel safe.

Slade Hunter is feeling an untold amount of guilt because he feels a
mistake makes him responsible for Baillo’s death. Trying to assuage it in part by allowing Symone to tag along on a single night of patrolling the zone turns into a nightmare as things begin to snowball out of control and it looks as though both are now being targeted.

Murder, intrigue, betrayal, phenomenal sex; these are just a few of the things I found in this story to hold my interest. But it’s the convoluted plot twists that mystify to the very end that made this a read I enjoyed.I have to say the strong woman aspect is one I truly admire as the weepy ones tend to hurt my stomach.
