Napping is the fourth place Cassie’s moved and this time she’s not
leaving. Having bought a small place outside town, life has been good until the visions came back. She’s afraid to tell anyone, especially the sheriff. The last place they actually did a kind of intervention and forced her out of her building. The problem is, she can’t allow another woman to die if she can prevent it.
Ty has spent two years trying to work up the courage to ask Cassie out and now she’s beaten him to it. As sheriff, he’s prepared to face any kind of criminal situation, but one feisty, shapely woman ties him in knots. Now that woman claims she’s a psychic who’s seen another woman’s death and won’t stop trying to solve the first murder. How’s a guy supposed to protect his woman when she simply won’t listen?
I enjoyed this enormously. The characters were great and truly “small town” (I know this as I grew up in one), while murder, mayhem, humor, and an unwilling psychic blended with it, make make this story very entertaining. The fast-paced action kept my interest throughout. Oh, and let’s not forget the sex. The energy, inventiveness and all-out enthusiasm left me wishing for my younger days.
