At the age of eighteen Sarah Tate had been too young and afraid to
handle what Brock wanted from her. Six years and one bad marriage later she wanted to experience all the things she knew he was capable of making her feel. Her, him, one night without his brothers knowing or being involved. She’d heard the rumours, listened to the women talk who’d been with them and knew she wasn’t capable of being part of anything like that. Well, she wasn’t, was she?

Brock August had watched the woman who held his heart marry a man who proceeded to trample hers. For six years Sarah had done everything in her power to run away from him in a town so small it was a laughable exercise at best. It was time to claim what was his and explain so she knew that what she thought herself incapable of, she could more than handle. He wondered could he handle giving her the time to come to terms with it?

It seems they haven’t destroyed the fruitcake who was out to get rid of the August men and now it gets really interesting. As the story unfolds and I get more of the background of the brothers I realize what a great series this could truly turn out to be. There is a skillful blending of personas as well as some magnificent sexual scenes. The women are strong without being bitches, while the men actually have endearing weaknesses. My personal favourite is Cade hitting whoever makes Marly cry. Gotta love a man like that.
