Having worked through some serious issues, having spent the last five years building her party-planning company into a success, Caro Connery is happy to learn she’s landed a major account. It’s a major coup to land Stoked—until she learns she has to share it with her bloodmate, that is. The half-vamp Alex King. Only, it seems someone or something has it in for Caro and intends her harm.

Five years ago, Alex King had it all and because of fear and total immaturity and stupidity threw it away. Now he has grown and become a success in his own right, but it’s learning that he has won the shared account with Caro that has him really “stoked”, for it means he now has a chance to win her back, not only into his bed but into his life—permanently.

Vampires, sex, satyrs, sex (beginning to see a pattern here?), some really interesting parties, and enough plot twists to make a Rubic’s Cube. Can you tell I thoroughly enjoyed this book? I had characters I loved and those I loved to hate, some who had me in tears of laughter (I’m an odd person, sorry) and some who just made me want to take a wand and make them disappear. And yet, throughout there was the serious undertone of trust, faith and belief in one’s self and one’s partner.
