Ben attended a wedding with Carl even though they were no longer together. Carl had become too controlling a long time ago and now Ben regretted agreeing to be Carl’s date for his sister’s wedding. He would rather be anywhere else, except he couldn’t keep his eyes off the best man.

Dave Anderson noticed Ben watching him several times during the service. They finally met while family members were have the wedding photos taken. When Carl finds them talking together he causes a drunken scene and Ben decides it time to leave. Dave offers him a ride home so they can get better acquainted.

The relationship is off to a wonderful start. It seems made in heaven; they have so much in common. But when Carl won’t let go and tries to make trouble the test of their love begins.
