What would you do if you found out you were the stand-in for a long dead woman? When Detective Chandra Hunt ends up at a club called Foreplay (the name kinda says it all, huh?) looking for her best friend who’s disappeared, she finds a whole lot more than she bargained for. Sin being the last thing on her mind, but becoming an obsession after one long night of fun and freaky sex.

Obsessed with Chandra, Sin-Bad Stoner (rather punnistic name) has laid plans to make her receptive to him and his type of loving. Too bad she’s so independent that nothing’s going his way including the fact that it’s suddenly become more important that she become his in every way.

Now this is a tale with a twist. I truly love those strong, in your face women who aren’t afraid to go toe to toe with a man, or even a vampire (albeit a sexy, bold one). I liked this one from beginning to end with all it’s bold, erotic sex which was interspersed only when necessary (but, wow- so hot), the struggles of man (or vamp) to dominate, woman resisting submission and all the facets of fear, anxiety, need to love, aggression and love which were woven into a realistic look at a relationship in the making. This was written with a fine hand and keen wit making it a keeper.
