Dr. Joe has finally given in and decided to give himself that second
chance life has put in front of him. His biggest worry is that the
chance happens to be thirty years younger than his own fifty-six and may break his heart.

In love with Joe for years, Holly is determined to prove that age has nothing to do with her feelings for him. Besides which, due to her past, in living they’re about even. He’s the best man she’s ever known, and somehow she has to make him believe they belong together.

I usually can’t stand the May (or in this case February) / December romances, but Ms. Lynne has written this in such a manner that they are just about the same age in many ways. A truly innocent man in certain areas, Holly is more than his equal, making this one I enjoyed a lot. Throw in some extremely erotic lovemaking, a son older than dad’s girl, fear, hope, and just plain good humor and this was one I read fairly quickly, then read it again.
