Mystic was tired of the sheltered life, all decisions had been made for her by her mother and both of her vampire fathers. Even though she was an Angelini she could not shift to wolf form like her mother and others of that hunter blood line. Her parents had not even allowed to train as a huntress and receive the markings.

Now she was to be mated to two werewolves and before that she was determined to have some fun. Her two best friends helped her escape on a road trip to Las Vegas but things conspired against her before they even arrived. The sound of wolves and the scream of death drew the three friends into a hunt for rogue wolves that would change her life.

A great story, full of adventure, action, family dynamics, friendship, and passionate sex. A story of coming of age in the life of the huntress and how she must accept the inevitable changes in her life. It kept me riveted and since I have not read the previous books in the series I will be looking forward to backtracking, then reading this one again. Compelling in its complexity and simple in its passion. A wonderful reading adventure.
