Colt woke up in a Vegas hotel room not remembering much from the night before. His knuckles were bloody and scabbed over, there was blood all over the sheets, and a trail of dainty women’s clothing leading to the bathroom. He almost tore the door of the hinges as he barrelled into the room to find his shy, quiet assistant Renny curled up at the far end of the tub crying her eyes out. What had he done?

Renny had basically worshipid Colt ever since she began working for him. Now she woke up married to him. The problem was he didn’t want to be married. She knew he had been drunk when he suggested it and at first she refused. Then he had called his brother and told him to convince Renny to say yes and Bolt agreed with his brother, telling her to

“Marry him, Renny, and save the miserable bastard from himself.”

Now that she had him, could she keep him. The biggest problem is that Colt was not interested in a beautiful wife, he had been married once before and look where that had gotten him. If he was ever going to marry it had to be someone plain and Renny was not plain anymore. This is a great short novel. There is fun, love, lust, and yet they get the account after all. Family is a big part as well. It is sexy and tender.
