Throwback Thursday using Scrabble letters

Renee at It’s Book Talk began this meme as a way to share older reviews you may have missed. As you know, I was already doing this #ThrowbackThursday Meme here, so I was pleased to find someone else doing it, too. 🙂  There’s nothing like sharing the love. Which, incidentally brings me to…

This is part of my Throwback Thursday Feature over at Alternative-Read.com #TBT #ThrowbackThursday

On the world of eYona, Imprianna is a rather unique individual. She is an imp; with the ability to bind men to her for life with a “kiss”. She’s being hunted by the Baroness who has plans to manufacture synthetics of imp fluids to control first enemy armies, then the world. So Imprianna picks both Danjer and Saxon to be her “guardians” to get her to the Iron Duke and hopefully safety. The rather amazing uniqueness of her extends to her sexuality as well, but it’s Saxon who finally understands what she means when she keeps telling them that she needs two in order to have sex.

Danjer is from the old planet of Earth and has an ability that no one else on eYona has; the ability to see colors. That makes him the best tracker as he can see differences natural inhabitants can’t. Now he’s fallen in love with the imp they affectionately call Pink and feels guilty for not wanting to share her with his best friend, Saxon, who’s also in love with her. To make it worse Pink says she can’t choose.

In taking a blow to the head protecting Danjer, Saxon has a bit of a problem remembering words sometimes (like everybody doesn’t), but it hasn’t damaged the essential man he is in his heart. He knows that Danjer is having trouble in accepting the situation of the three of them. He just hadn’t realized how much until after they had rescued Pink from the Baroness and they were given their own home.

Overall: For me this story has it all. I mean, best friends finding a woman who has to have two men, jealousy, selfishness, villains, really hot sex, but I think the best part was in the exploration of each man’s emotions and the strength of their friendship. The story grabbed my interest from the first page and kept it to the last. There was never a slow moment and the personalities of the three characters meshed almost from their first meetings.
