Lia has given up life as she knew it to become Guardian of the Sapphire Moon. A sacred sapphire deep within a crystal globe, it gives it’s blessing to true-mated couples with Lia as witness. The Guardian is denied that which she must witness, making for a very lonely life.

Returning from war, tired to his soul, all Roark can think of is seeing his beloved Lia again; until he finds out it’s forbidden. Knowing they should be together and having been a soldier, he knows
what it is to storm the battlements.

I like the structuring in this one, the ideas and questions that a strong, simple, smart man brought forth to those “in power”, with the courage to fight for who and what he believed in. And let’s not forget that sweet, but steel encased in velvet woman who finally decided what was truly important- seeking truth before blindly believing (oh, yeah… and love of course). I would like to see this one expanded into a fuller version or even a series with more of that sensual sex that makes you sweat. The “Inside Story” by Sassy Brit and her Gang!
