Prequel to Passion’s Four Towers

Kerry is the Heir to the Queen of Marchonland, she will rule when her mother dies and the Queen wants her to begin producing, at least an Heir and a spare. What Kerry wants is passion. Her parents lived in separate wings and she was not interested in marrying only for the prospect of children. Then the merchant came bringing wears and trinkets from distant lands as well as stories. It just so happened he was captivated by Kerry and was determined to have her. His passion and wit held her hostage to his love and they were wildly happy till his death. But with only one daughter she now had to find someone else. Would she be able to live without him? Would she find love again or just accept a mate?

An interesting story of passion fulfilled, loyalty of a Queen for her people, as well as loyalty of a good friend to her and the memory of her first love. She would do anything to help her people and to rule fairly. The passion was intense with the queen and her various consorts, each for different reasons. The time line was a little abrupt but a lot of time was covered in the story. The sadness of loss was offset by the love that was found.
