Kaydana needs to earn a living and the only useful skill she has is magic. The only problem is there seem to be magicians everywhere. There she meets a Shoeovin named Tati who needs her magical help to rescue her brother from the King’s prison. The highly sexual creature offers more than money in exchange for help. Even with her magic it will be nearly impossible to get past the demon guards to save him before he is tortured to death. Ironically help comes in the form of the King’s son who does not agree with his father’s ways. Will they be able to save Tati’s brother in time?

The book has a high amount of sexual content and the ever popular cruel King. There is certainly a fight between good and evil and a twist or two to keep the interest above the sexual level. However, as a first in a series I am not sure where the story line can accommodate more. It may be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

About the Author:

I began writing when I was four years old, and I haven’t stopped since. In the meantime, I’ve found time to graduate from the University of Keele in Greek Studies and English and hold a number of jobs, ranging from bookshop assistant and care-worker to artist’s model, and even a stint with MacDonald’s. Much of my writing has been either poetry or fantasy (of the non-erotic kind), and I’ve had numerous short stories and poems published. My fantasy novel At an Uncertain Hour has just been accepted for publication by StoneGarden. I’ve also written music, and done numerous gigs on the London poetry/music scene, doing performance poetry to backing music. I recently began writing erotica, and besides the work coming out from DEP I have had a story called Fernie Brae published in the Xcite Books anthology Sex & Submission, and another due out in a future anthology from them, as well as a story called Amelie’s Test on the Justus Roux’s Erotic Tales website. I currently live just outside London and am between jobs.
