Not everyone can claim to have their dead spouse playing matchmaker, but it seems the dearly departed Alyssa is determined to make Colby Hutchins declare he’s still among the living- by getting together with her best friend, Bree. The fact that Bree had been starring in some pretty erotic fantasies has made Colby so guilty that he’s stayed away from his home for a year; now his wife is telling him “go for it” as a ghost.

Having had a sister-like relationship with Alyssa for most of their lives, Bree Lancaster has hidden the secret that she’s been in love with Colby since high school; at least she thought she’d hidden it, but apparently not well enough. now Alyssa has “come back” to tell Bree to get off her duff and make Colby hers with her ghostly blessing.

A love so strong that a spirit can’t leave without seeing her “family happy, guilt, angst, fear and exasperation make this an enduring read that made me laugh, weep, and root for the lovers to get together and let their best friend and spouse rest in peace and transcend to the afterlife. It was written with exquisite taste, compassion and most of all love at it’s best that made this for me a definite keeper.
