I am reviewing the Getting Started with Raspberry Pi: Program Your Raspberry Pi! (Dummies Junior) Book. Here are my thoughts:

^^ This Dummies Junior book helps you get started with a wonderful hobby of computing, but with one big difference, you learn how to make your very own small, inexpensive Raspberry Pi microcomputer.

^^ Who would want one of these? Anyone who is interested in how a computer works from the inside out.

^^ How does a Raspberry Pi benefit you? Because you can buy kits to put one together fairly cheaply, which in turn teaches real tech skills from building and configuring to programming and gaming. It’s very educational and quite an achievement to build.

^^ This manual is easy to understand with handy pictures. Very good for beginners.

^^ There’s even information about how to write code for Minecraft characters in the Python section. And I can assure you, it’s not as difficult as you would expect.

Overall:
I found the book Getting Started with Raspberry Pi: Program Your Raspberry Pi! (Dummies Junior) easy enough to understand and feel it is just right for its targeted age group. In fact it is a subject that has always intrigued me and I’ll admit to learning a few things, too.
