What a thrilling thriller!

When new mum Laura receives an anonymous card through the post, the five little words in it, bring her whole life crashing down. Your husband is a murderer! 

Immediately I was thrown into the mystery of who had sent it, and why. What secrets was Laura’s husband, Conor, hiding, or is it just someone trying to mess with their perfect life for kicks? Why would anyone accuse the popular Conor of such a thing? He doesn’t even know the murdered girl,  very well. Or does he?  Laura, with the help of her sister, Amanda, seek to find out the truth, but will they like what they find? 

There are a lot of red herrings and I was kept guessing throughout. I really enjoyed this well-written fun read, and how the characters who all seem to know what’s going on in each others lives, portray a sense of foreboding amidst a small village full of secrets. And what about Laura, is she as saintly as she likes everyone to believe? Could she be hiding a few secrets of her own from Conor? I found it all very exciting as I rushed through to the end to find out! One thing’s for sure, there’s a murderer loose in their neighbourhood, but who is it?
