Rain Foster had changed her name and her life to get away from her mob family. She was not going to marry the son of one of her fathers ‘business associates’. She just wanted to paint and live life on her own, not as a piece of arm jewellery to a man who only wanted her to form an alliance with her father.

When Laurent Cole and Andreas Phinney walked into the diner her life was changed forever. Andreas was the pack leader and Laurent was his second and had served in that position for sixteen years. He knew the moment he saw her that she was his mate, and realized he would have to go slow since she was human but he would definitely keep her close.

The alpha nature of the werewolf males makes any were story fabulous. In this one the passion and protectiveness is over the top. His desire for her and need to protect her causes her much distress as he seems to hid things from her and she picks up on it. In truth he is hiding a great deal, his other half. He tries to woe her with his humanity without letting her see the wolf until he has won her heart. Everything heats up when daddy finds her. It is a fast paced wonderfully romantic tale of love conquering all.
