Patrick Holden was the tycoon she wanted to emulate and if she land this job as his administrative assistant she could learn enough in a year or two to be ready to go out on her own and start her own business investment company. All she had to do was handle the man with the inflamed ego for a little while.

Lucy Divine was more than ready for the job but as she went over the requirement she was daunted by how very self-centered he was. Patrick Holden was not happy about being landed with an assistant who was Lucy. He didn’t like her hair, her name, her attitude, in general she was just too Divine. He was afraid he would have a permanent erection and not get anything done, the real fact was he liked her a little too much even before he knew her name.

I love the egotistical dominate male finally having to soften a little. It is a wonderful story that makes the reader smile a lot. Oh, to be able to take someone like that down a peg all for the glory of love. You know what they say about the bigger they are the harder they fall well with Patrick he had a long way to go and some lessons to learn about humility along the way.
