Working undercover is not usually such a chore for Jada Harris. Playing the part of a pole dancer to a bunch of screaming drunks, however, is not the way she likes to spend her time—ick! To crack the case of the art thief, she’ll do what she must, but the gorgeous man she thinks is a spy from her Captain is something totally out of her experience.

Traveling into the future, Chandler Sutherland is a Vampire just trying to start a new life in the here and now. He didn’t expect to run into Johannes, the old Master who had turned him into what he is so many years ago in the same place, or to have to decide whether or not to stay and take him on, or run for his undead life. Meeting Jada makes that decision a bit easier to make.

I found this an interesting look at a man (vamp) trying to stay on the straight and narrow for the love of a good woman. It is an interesting work full of wit and humor, incredible sex and a viable look at how a guy might go about making a life for himself after traveling centuries into the future. The only disappointment for me in this one was that it ended way too early so I hope this means there is a sequel in the works?
