Cambria Jones, an independent woman in all ways, finds herself
immensely drawn to two men of the assessment team sent to discover the losses occurring in the gym where her friend Mia works. She’s not sure, however, if she’s ready to handle that kind of a relationship. There’s something profoundly sad and lonely about both Dack and Logan as well as incredibly dangerous.

Dack Tyden is a former Captain of a special ops squad whose entirety has been sold to a group called Black Watch. Living in hiding as he and his squad must do in order to stay alive, he’s forgotten what it’s like to truly feel anything- until she meets Cambria. Can she handle the fact that though he and Logan aren’t lovers, they are a package deal?

Logan Brackton has had Dack’s back for years and there won’t be anyone keeping him from protecting it now- not even Cambria. Perhaps that’s not going to be a problem though since he knows she’s attracted to the both of them. What a perfect solution.

Petty intrigue, sassy women and hot men; a great mix to create a story that makes a good read. Now throw in some exquisitely written sex and good just got better. I did feel a resolution to one of the relationships ended a little disappointing and abrupt, however, the characters came across as real and believable making this an intriguing story. I’m waiting to see if Mia gets her own spinoff.
