The next best thing to being in cat form is being in the arms of a man for some down and dirty, sweat-slick, mutual, no-strings attached sex with a like-minded male. At least that’s Lana Sinclair’s idea of the next-best thing. She’s done the wedded bliss once and after Jamie’s passing has no plans to give it another go.

Being a shape-shifter who is also a bull rider has it’s moments. But not as many as Duncan Ross wants to have with Lana. Although surprised when she propositions him, she’s played right into his trap. For the wiley Duncan plans to make her his one and only no matter how long he has to woo his skittish kitty.

I’ve read other Middlemarch books and have always enjoyed the fact that the women who tempt these males are feisty, strong, opinionated and not afraid to stand up to any male. In this one I found Lana humorous in her “I don’t want him, but you can’t have him” attitude while Duncan’s sincerity was great. I think I’d like to be around to hear them growl- it would really be rather cute as well as just plain fascinating. But what I’d really like to read about is that steamy
shifted sex, although the sex in here was enough to make one look for the cold water to “cool one down” if you know what I mean. The “Inside Story” by Sassy Brit and her Gang!
