Although a healer in her own right, Gabi has no wants other than to take care of the mate she’s found in archangel Abdiel. Unfortunately, a cussed lot of demons, including members of his own family, are trying to throw some serious wrenches into the works.

Abdiel has been responsible for trying to protect mankind, members of his family, and other angels who have become his family, only to feel failure when he and Cam are taken to Hell and tortured endlessly. Now they have to deal with changelings, betrayals and confusion.

This is an incredible “what if” type of read. I thoroughly enjoyed the suppositions presented in this intriguing good-versus-evil rendition with an unusual twist. I found the storyline not only entertaining, but thought provoking and one of those that you love to bring up in round the table discussions among friends. Thank you, Ms. Hecht, and I’m eagerly awaiting the next one.
