Alternative-Read.com was formed to assist the joining together of readers, authors and other like minded people, by sharing fair, objective, professionally written blog posts and reviews of books and other products sent to us. We fully support and believe in our organisation and hope that our reviews and other published works are seen as positive and constructive in content.
To that end, Alternative-Read.com (AR) support the following statements:
Although the website owner, Sassy Brit, does accept donations to help towards the running and maintenance of this site, and also accepts other forms of revenue from advertising as part of her freelancing work, Sassy/AR does not receive any form of payment from our reviews, except for the free books and products received in good faith.
Where monies are collected in payment for services received, this does not reflect the content of the review, nor guarantee a favourable one. All book and product reviews are treated with the same respect and care, whether obtained free or alongside a service.
We endeavour to complete all accepted reviews within 30 – 150 days, unless otherwise organised in advance. We will inform you if this time period goes beyond that of our guarantee.
Please note, Sassy Brit no longer has time to run a review site with lots of reviewers, therefore AR is now more of a “free author and product promos blog”, with additional reviews by Amazon Vine Reviewer Sassy herself.
