Gluten Free, Naturally: 101 simple and delicious recipes

 4.5  ·  Rating details ·  Ratings  ·  Review

After contracting Lyme Disease at the age of 10, Caroline Byron has battled with health problems for much of her life. While this didn’t stop her forging a successful modelling career and retraining as a chef, Caroline became increasingly frustrated by these health issues. She decided to completely overhaul her diet and go gluten-free. The change in her health was astonishing.

Since then, she has devoted her time to developing a range of delicious recipes that are all naturally free from gluten, showing that you can enjoy a wide range of foods without resorting to pre-packaged ‘free-from’ items. Her skills as a chef and genuine love of food have led her to create a balanced collection of dishes, where the focus is on flavour and enjoyment as well as health. Although she includes healthy broths and probiotic smoothies, Caroline also finds space for her much-loved Gluten-free Fried Chicken and Melting Mac and Cheese, as well as a wide variety of baking recipes.

With a huge range of tempting dishes to choose from, you will never feel like you’re missing out.

I know erotica is not everyone’s cup of tea, but would dunk your Rich Tea biscuit in this and read further? What are you currently reading?

I can’t wait to visit your blogs to find out. Have a great weekend, may your books be with you!

  1. I probably wouldn’t be able to keep a diet like this because I like my junk food occasionally. But I look up to the storng-minded people who keep healthy this way.

  2. Sounds like a great recipe book! I have eaten gluten free many times, and find I don’t fee so heavy after eating. I don’t have a gluten tolerance but it is still nice to eat and not bloat. Especially pasta! 🙂
    Happy weekend! x

  3. I haven’t heard of this recipe book before but it looks like it has a lot of interesting (and delicious) ideas. Thanks for mentioning it! 🙂

  4. I know that given my age (I don’t mind owning up to the big 60!), I probably have more than one thing wrong with me, that a change of lifestyle and / or diet, might help fix! – Especially given my complete fear and distrust of doctors and any medication.

But I don’t know – gluten free, dairy free, fat free, carbohydrate free caffeine free, vegan, vegetarian …. The list goes on, so which one, if any, is the best general option?

Perhaps moderation in everything is the answer and will keep me sitting firmly on the fence.

Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend 🙂

  5. I’m sure there are plenty of people who’d like to “dunk their rich tea biscuit” in this! Gluten-free can be so expensive so simple recipes are really handy to have for those who need such a diet 🙂
