Waiting on Wednesday / Can’t Wait Wednesday
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, and my version is a mix of what I’m waiting to read, whether it’s a new release that is not out yet, or an older book on my TBR shelf, which I really want to read but haven’t got around to it yet.
Here’s my ‘Can’t wait to read’, book for this week:
Book details
#Murdertrending
When eighteen-year-old Dee Guerrera wakes up in a haze, lying on the ground of a dimly lit warehouse, she realizes she’s about to be the next victim of the app. Knowing hardened criminals are getting a taste of their own medicine in this place is one thing, but Dee refuses to roll over and die for a heinous crime she didn’t commit. Can Dee and her newly formed posse, the Death Row Breakfast Club, prove she’s innocent before she ends up wrongfully murdered for the world to see? Or will The Postman’s cast of executioners kill them off one by one?

What have you been wanting to read? My Thoughts!
I love all sorts of genres, as you have probably noticed, never sticking to only one theme, so this book really appeals to me as it’s quite different to anything I’ve read lately, and brings out the horror fiend in me! LOL My love of horror, has never vanished. Even when friends and family have often said, “Shouldn’t you have grown out of THAT stage by now?” There’s just something about reading a scary book, or watching a scary film I just love. Even if afterwards I can’t go upstairs without turning on all the lights first!
I found this and added it to my bookshelf on July 4th, but I cannot recall where I found this, only that it was on a Wednesday, during this very meme. So, if it was you, please let me know 🙂 Next time I do this, I’ll make a note of where I discovered these great books, so I can thank you, mystery book blogger, personally!
Is this on your TBR or have you already read it? So many people have already downloaded this, but it’s not available in England until 7th August! Not too long to wait, but I can’t understand why we can’t get hold of it here yet (not even on NetGalley) Agh!
What your ‘Can’t wait for’ book? Do let me know in the comments below. Thank you!
Luv Sass x

How have a missed this one?! it sounds like something I would really like, plus the mention of Alcatraz too. Awesome find.
I feel like I’ve seen this book around but for some reason I never took the time to read the synopsis until now. And I really like what I’ve read. Sounds good!
Good pick. Sounds like a different kind of read.
I think you found this on my Can’t-Wait Wednesday post two weeks ago. I’m not sure though, maybe you’ve found this somewhere else first. Nevertheless, I’m so glad you’re excited for this too. I can’t wait to hear your review on this one in the future. 😀
This one sounds really interesting – I’m a sucker for near future crime. Thank you for sharing!
I’m excited for this one too! It sounds different, but so intriguing! Great pick!
I saw this one somewhere too, can’t think where. Glad that you featured it. And, no, I’ll never grow out of my mystery/horror loving reading. LOL
I’m definitely looking forward to this one! I haven’t read Gretchen McNeil ina while, and this one sounds fabulous!
Happy Hump Day! This sounds good. And the cover kind of reminds me of those instructional books for dummies. LOL I like it.
I read #MurderTrending – a fantastic concept and gripping read.
